Emma Buckton

Emma started her career as a Support Engineer in the Capacity Management Team at Northern Gas Networks back in 2010; she was then promoted to Principal Strategy Engineer to take ownership of the offtake capacity processes and associated Uniform Network Code reporting requirements, before progressing into management of the Above 7 Bar Planning team.

Her current role involves overseeing the networks’ long-term demand forecasting processes, strategising and securing offtake capacity, and reporting on shrinkage and leakage in the network.

Emma brings a knowledge of demand forecasting analysis, network planning, regulatory reporting and control room operations.
