Our leadership team spread joy painting sensory rooms for SoLO charity
October 2025

The leadership team recently completed the transformation of two sensory rooms at SoLO, a charity dedicated to adult service users. These spaces now offer a calm, soothing environment where individuals can truly relax and feel at ease.
Previously filled with harsh green and blue tones, the rooms have been completely renewed into spaces of comfort and peace — a true reflection of care and compassion.
A long-standing member of staff shared this heartfelt reflection:
“Every day I come to work, I am overwhelmed with emotion. For years I’ve asked for the building to be painted, and now, seeing it finally brought to life, I feel such joy. Walking through the doors each morning no longer feels heavy — it feels uplifting. The transformation has made such a difference, and I cannot thank National Gas Metering enough for not only painting the building but for bringing light and pride back into our workplace. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.”
This initiative is a powerful example of how small acts of service can make a lasting impact on the wellbeing of others.
