Wormington to Honeybourne pipeline

Wider Context

As part of the upgrade of the gas pipeline which connects South Wales with the UK wide network, we will need to focus on improving and increasing the capacity of the existing 9km pipeline between Wormington and Honeybourne in Worcestershire.

What we’re doing

Our work will include:

  • Widening and reinforcing the existing pipeline which runs underground. This will involve digging up the underground pipeline at certain sections.
  • Strengthening our above ground installations along this length of pipeline to deal with the increased capacity.

How it will affect you

As we carry out this work it is possible that you will notice some disruption including increased traffic, noise and activity. We will always inform those who will be most affected by our work and collaborate with communities to minimise any disturbance.
