Robin Cannings

Storengy UK, a gas storage service provider which owns and operates the Stublach Gas Storage facility, the UK’s largest natural gas storage site. Robin holds responsibility for the Marketing and Commercial Optimisation of the site, the strategy for Sales and Storengy’s operation of its own capacity and for stakeholder and regulatory engagement within the gas market.

As a result he works closely with stakeholder groups within and related to the Gas Market: prospective and actual customers, regulatory and industry groups such as the Gas Storage Operators Group and National Grid Gas.

He also works alongside Storengy UK’s business development team in the development of Green Gases: hydrogen and biogas.

Robin’s 15 years experience of the gas market encompasses both commercial aspects and also the issues faced by new connections and green field infrastructure builds.
