Ian Radley
Chief Commercial Officer
Ian Radley serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at National Gas.
Ian has held a range of senior leadership positions within both National Gas and National Grid, including Director of System Operations, where he was responsible for the real-time operation and planning of the Gas National Transmission System, and Director of Construction, overseeing the delivery of a £200 million per annum capital portfolio.
With more than 20 years of experience in Gas Transmission, Ian is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), and holds a first-class Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ian also contributes to industry advancement as a trustee of the Carbon Monoxide Research Trust.
Outside of work, Ian enjoys swimming, camping, and coaching his son’s rugby team.

Executive team
The executive leadership team at National Gas is responsible for ensuring Britain’s gas is transported safely and efficiently from where it's produced to the places where it's consumed. That includes balancing supply and demand every day, managing millions of metering installations UK-wide, and maintaining the integrity of gas pipelines and infrastructure.
