Gas Data Portal SOAP API Service Outage – 10th February 2026 1am – 6am

On Tuesday 10th February 26 there will be a system outage on our SOAP API Service between 1am to 6am. 

This will impact the following SOAP APIs:

• Data Item SOAP API
• Instantaneous Flow SOAP API

All data will be available following the outage. 

This outage is part of our SOAP API decommissioning activities. If you use our SOAP APIs please move over to our REST APIs. More information can be found on our SOAP to REST API Transition Page.

Please note this outage does not impact the Gas Data Portal Website or REST API Service.

Upcoming system outage – Tuesday 10th February 2026

Please be aware that there will be the following upcoming system outage taking place on Tuesday 10th February 2026 (between 16:00– 19:15) which will affect some elements of Operational data displayed through National Gas Data portal. 

Affected GCS data flows to National Gas data portal and GMRS are as follows: 

 MIPI 

• PCLP data (Published via ANS at 17:05 if required).
• Forecast Flows (Supply).
• Physical Flows (Supply).        

 GMRS 

Physical Flows (Supply) - Outage takes last known good value for the duration.

Please be aware that there will be the following upcoming system outage taking place on Tuesday 17th February 2026 (between 16:00– 19:15) which will affect some elements of Operational data displayed through National Gas Data portal.
